Frequently Asked Questions
This means that you've started a group, but have not joined the one you want to be part of.
Two things need to happen:
First, have the leader/organizer of the fraternity you are trying to join invite you again with your email address. Then accept that invitation you receive via email. Second, in the home panel on the app, click the two arrows in the "my fraternity" section. You will then be able to toggle to the fraternity you are trying to be part of.
Due to very high download volumes, our server provider temporarily suspended Exodus 90. They thought we were being spammed, but in fact, many men are interested in joining the spiritual exercise at this time. The issue has been resolved. Because of that, you will receive as many confirmation codes as the times you tried to register. Unfortunately, the codes you receive will be expired and will not work to register your account.
What to do: If you are starting a fraternity, you will need to re-register by clicking "get started" above. If you were invited to join a fraternity by your leader, please request that he add you to the group once more. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you in getting started. If problems persist please contact us at email@example.com.
Exodus 90 is a spiritual exercise for men. The content of the spiritual exercise is designed for the spirituality and the struggles of the modern man and we do not encourage women to undertake it. Our gift to women is husbands and priests who become who they are supposed to be for them.
The first week of Exodus 90 is free. No risk and no credit card required for registration. On day 8, you will be asked to enter a credit card for payment. After your free trial, it’s $9.99 / month for three months. That comes out to $29.97 total. Cancel anytime.
After the first week's free trial, it's $9.99 / month for three months for each man of your fraternity. Every man pays his own way. We do not yet have a way where one man can cover other's registration costs.
Exodus 90 is a ministry and non-profit 501(c)(3). All revenue is re-invested into Exodus 90’s development to reach hundreds of thousands of men into the future. We believe that Exodus 90 is a spiritual exercise to bring about a renewal in the Church today. Your participation and support fuels this mission.
No. Each man covers his own three-month subscription.
Click "Get Started" in the right-hand corner of exodus90.com, or simply follow this link here - https://app.exodus90.com/auth/login. Click the orange button at the bottom of the page that reads "Sign Up". You will then enter your name and email address and set a password for your account. You will receive a confirmation code via email. Enter that code to gain access to your account. This will make you the defacto leader of the fraternity. You will then be able to set your start date and invite other men to join you via email. If you know that someone else is leading your fraternity, there is no need to register onsite. Your leader will invite you.
No. The leader of the fraternity is the only one who needs to start a fraternity. He will then invite the rest of the brothers to join the group by entering their email.
Upon registration, the leader will enter the email addresses of men to invite into the fraternity. Once they accept your invitation that they will receive via email, they will be part of your fraternity. We suggest your fraternity consist of 5-7 men.
We highly encourage that each group meets one time before starting Exodus 90. After laying out what Exodus 90 entails have each man answer one question: "Are you in or are you out?" It's okay to say no. Exodus 90 is not for everyone and all times are not the best for this spiritual exercise. But with a good intention and powered by grace, you have what it takes to make it through.
Yes! Exodus 90 is not like other parish programs. It's a spiritual exercise that affects your whole life, and will necessarily impact your family. Share with your wife why you are doing the spiritual exercise and what Exodus 90 entails. It will be important to have her blessing.
You set your start date. Fraternities begin Exodus 90 each day.
No. Exodus 90 fraternities are flesh-and-blood fraternities composed of men in your area. You invite men from your school, parish, workplace or neighborhood.
No. Exodus 90 is not a self-help program. As to going solo, a priest who completed the program remarked that going it alone would be "spiritual suicide." Why? Because alone we are weak and isolated, which makes ourselves easy targets for the devil. With fellow men to journey with, providing support and accountability, you are able to challenge and encourage each other on as brothers in Christ.
Yes. However, we encourage priests to do the spiritual exercise with brother priests. Exodus 90 can be a powerful way to deepen priestly relationships at a time where the communal life is not widely practiced for one reason or another.
Yes, available both on iOS and Android mobile devices.
Our application is web-based, meaning that you can still access Exodus 90 on any computer with an internet connection. You do not need a smart-phone to access Exodus 90.
The Exodus 90 app has three functions: a) content; b) progress reporting; and c) communication. The app has all the content you will need for Exodus 90. You will also be able to record graces and struggles each day so that you can see your progress over time. But here’s the real reason we built it: to stay connected and accountable to your fraternity between weekly fraternity meetings. The app is a communication platform for small groups.
Coming Soon. Thanks to a grant from the Our Sunday Visitor Institute, Exodus 90 is being translated to Spanish. Over the coming years, we will be rolling out other translations as well.
Yes. It started as a spiritual exercise in a seminary. Four years ago, our team committed to sharing it with the world. To date, more than 7,500 men have made their way through the spiritual exercise. Exodus 90 has the full support of many bishops, including our beloved ordinary, Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of Fort Wayne - South Bend.
Because Exodus 90 is rooted in the traditions of the Early Church, ones that Christ Himself gives to us (prayer, asceticism, and fraternity), our brothers in Christ from the Christian denominations are welcomed with open arms. Past participants have found the spiritual exercise to be fruitful.
Yes, if you would like access to the new app.
Yes, each and every year we take feedback from participants to improve the experience for the future. Exodus 90 is the fruit of a living fraternity.
