To ensure you get the most enjoyment out of the fraternal activities on Friday & Saturday of Freedom Summit, shorter (2-3:30 p.m.) & longer (2-5 p.m.) organized activities are available based upon interest and availability. Please help us plan by selecting the activities you’re interested in below. (Scroll to the bottom of this page to fill in form).
Shorter Activities
Archery
YMCA Archery sessions allow beginners to learn the basics, while experienced archers get a chance to practice honing their skills. Archery is available year-round, outdoor or indoor based upon weather conditions and staffing.
Disc Golf
The 18-hole disc golf course will take you around the YMCA property while testing your skills! Beginners and experts will enjoy the incredible and unique views available as you toss your way around the Y. Your host, guide, & fellow competitor will be USA Ultimate team member & former Amazing Race competitor Kurt Gibson, MC of the Freedom Summit.
Game Room
The YMCA game room includes ping pong, billiards, foosball, table shuffleboard, and more! The game room is located in the basement of the Sweet Memorial Building.
Leatherworking Workshop
Exodus man Austin Casselberry of Golden West Supply will host a leathermaking workshop, teaching some of the art of fine leather craftsmanship.
Longer Activities
Rock Climbing (Guided)
A team from COR Expeditions of Wyoming Catholic College will be taking a van of up to 12 participants each day offsite for rock climbing in the Rockies. Sign up early if you’re interested. This is sure to fill up fast.

Hiking (Guided)
TA team from COR Expeditions of Wyoming Catholic College will lead an onsite hike with occasional stops for discussion & reflection.
